Error message about "d3dx9.dll"

You must have the latest DirectX installed from Microsoft in order to run To The World Tree. Install from http://www.microsoft.com/directx.

I can't get the sound to work in To The World Tree

This shouldn't be an issue with the latest version (version 3) of To The World Tree; sound effects are now functional. If you're still having trouble with audio, email me at ttwt@prankster.com.
